What kind of water blending valve should I use for my brewery equipment

We all know that the water is one of the most important ingredients for beer brewing. For the beer brewery equipment, the water blending station is also one of the most important part. For the smaller beer brewery equipment with 1500L, the manual water blending station is widely used, but for the brewery equipment exceed 2000L, we are not more recommand the auto type which could help to save both time and labour.

In the beer brewery equipment we manufactured for our clients, there are mainly 3 types of water blending station being used, saying the “Manual” “Semi auto” and “ Auto” type.
For the beer brewery equipment within 1500L or 1000L, the beer brewing operation is not that complicated, the manual water blending station is more popularly used, it also could help to save budget. It is usually adjusted with a three-way valve or two manual ball valves or diaphragm valves on hot water and cold water separately.
For the brewery equipment exceed 1800L and where with much higher labour cost, now the auto control is more popular as well, so does the auto water blending station, saying with pneumatic angle seat valve on cold water supply. Now the hot water flow could be adjusted directly via VFD of hot water pump, and the cold water flow could be adjusted according to the temperature sensor.
Another type of water blending station with each pneumatic angle seat valve on hot water supply and cold water supply separately. There will be temperature sensor and flowmeter for control each angle seat valve opening rate.
In order to get a more stable water suppying, it is better to have constant pressure water supply, so if you wanna get cold water from tap water directly, better with pressure sensor on pipeline as well. But if you plan to use cold water from CLT, you can ignore about the pressure sensor.
