We proudly presents a newly engineered 5000L brewhouse specifically customized for whisky distillation. Built for a domestic distillery project, this system integrates reliable steam heating, advanced temperature control, and fully automated CIP, ensuring both traditional whisky craftsmanship and modern production efficiency.
 

The 5000L brewhouse includes the following key configruations:
 
Cereal Cooker
Designed for high-starch materials such as corn, wheat, and sorghum, this vessel provides strong agitation and efficient steam heating. It achieves precise temperature steps required for cooking, ensuring full starch conversion and consistent mash quality.
 
 
Mash Tun
Optimized for whisky-style multi-step mashing. Steam jackets and accurate control valves guarantee smooth temperature ramps through enzymatic rests. The openable manway, internal CIP spray balls, and sanitary design ensure easy inspection and reliable cleaning.
 
 
Lauter Tun
Equipped with a laser-cut false bottom, adjustable rake system, and optimized wort runoff channels, the lauter tun delivers clear wort and stable lautering efficiency. The rake lifting and rotation mechanisms ensure uniform grain bed conditions and protect against stuck mash.
 
 
Weak Wort Holding Tank
The system features a dedicated Weak Wort Tank for collecting the second runnings. This allows the brewery to improve extraction efficiency, reintroduce thin wort into the next batch, and maximize raw material utilization—an important factor in whisky production economics.


 
Steam Heating & Plate Heat Exchanger Integration
