The External Keg Washer (Outer Keg Cleaning Machine) is designed for efficient and hygienic external cleaning of stainless steel kegs and similar containers. The machine uses a high-pressure water pump to spray high-pressure water from nozzles to rinse the external of kegs, while simultaneously using a stiff-bristled brush to scrub the outer wall, effectively cleaning the barrel's exterior and the barrel spout. The equipment is equipped with a hot water tank, featuring automatic water replenishment, automatic temperature control, steam coil heating, a water tank filter and inclined plate filter, and the circulating water with filtration system. It can match using with auto beer keg filling line.
This equipment is suitable for breweries, distilleries, beverage plants, and keg service centers requiring stable, repeatable, and labor-saving keg exterior cleaning.
Working Principle of External Keg Washer
1. Empty kegs are fed into the machine via the conveyor.
2. The keg enters the enclosed washing chamber.
3. Hot water is sprayed through spray nozzles to clean the keg exterior. Brushes assist in removing dirt or old labels. Before hot water spraying, we need to use adhersive remover firstly to soak the labels.
4. After washing, compressed air controls valves and cylinders for smooth operation.
5. Clean kegs are discharged through the outfeed conveyor.
