Ye Brewing—an emerging craft brewery located in Hebei, China and known for its “Wild Goose Tipsy” brand—partnered with our company to build a large-scale, fully automated 5000L brewery system. From engineering design to on-site installation and commissioning, the project was delivered as a true turnkey brewery solution. Today, this brewery system is running smoothly, and Ye Brewing has successfully launched commercial production. We were honored to attend their grand opening ceremony and participate in a collaboration brew the following day with Peter, the master brewer from Estonia’s largest craft brewery, Põhjala Brewery.
I. Customer Vision and Project Scope
Ye Brewing aimed to establish a high-capacity, modern craft brewery capable of producing both flagship beers and innovative seasonal batches. To support their ambitions, they required a complete beer brewing system covering raw material processing, wort production, beer fermentation, utilities, quality control, packaging, and automation.
After several rounds of technical discussions and design optimization, we customized a full turnkey 5000L brewery solution that integrates efficiency, flexibility, and scalability. The beer brewing system was designed not only for daily production but also for recipe development, yeast management, hop extraction, and process standardization.
II. Customized Turnkey Brewing System
The scope of supply included all major equipment and utilities required for a world-class 5000L brewery:
1. Grain Processing System
A fully customized milling setup
Two grain mills operating simultaneously to support high-capacity brews
Designed to handle large grain bills and ensure consistent crush quality
This dual-mill solution significantly reduces milling time and supports back-to-back brews.
2. 5000L Five-Vessel Brewhouse
A high-efficiency, five-vessel configuration engineered for continuous brewing:
Mash Tun
Lauter Tun
Buffer Tank
Brew Kettle
Whirlpool Tun
The brewhouse is equipped with automatic valves, inline monitoring, and a full Siemens-based control system to ensure repeatability and precise process control. The design allows up to 2–8 brews per day, depending on recipe parameters.
3. Fermentation & Cellar System
Multiple 5000L fermentation tanks
Multiple 10000L fermentation tanks
Two 5000L bright beer tank
All tanks are glycol-jacketed, fully insulated, equipped with advanced temperature control, CIP spray balls, and sampling valves, and designed with working platforms to make it convenient for the brewers to monitor and operate. This cellar setup allows Ye Brewing to scale production rapidly while maintaining strict quality consistency. And in future, more fermenters/brite tank can be added for expanding production.
4. Yeast Management
A fully integrated three-stage yeast propagation system
Designed to cultivate healthy, high-performance yeast for continuous production cycles, reducing yeast cost and improving fermentation reliability.
5. Hop Extraction Tank
An independent hop extraction and infusion system enables Ye Brewing to create highly aromatic beers with improved hop utilization and reduced losses—perfect for modern IPAs and hop-forward styles.
6. Utility Systems
Water treatment plant
Brewing water, hot water, cold water, and glycol water supply system
CIP cleaning system
Air compressor system
Steam boiler system
These ensure stable utilities, energy efficiency, and sanitary operations throughout the facility.
7. 1000L Pilot / Recipe Development Brewhouse
A dedicated pilot system allows the brewing team to test new ingredients, fine-tune recipes, and run small-batch collaboration brews before scaling up to 5000L production.
8. Packaging Solutions

Automatic canning line
Tunnel pasteurizer
This complete packaging setup enables Ye Brewing to distribute both draft and canned beer with stable shelf life and consistent product integrity.
III. Installation, Commissioning & Training
Our engineering team completed installation, piping, electrical work, and commissioning onsite. We also provided full training on brewing operations, equipment maintenance, automation, and quality control. Upon hand-over, the entire system was running smoothly and met all performance expectations.
IV. Grand Opening Celebration & International Collaboration Brew
We were honored to attend Ye Brewing’s official opening ceremony. The celebration brought together local partners, brewers, and beer enthusiasts. On the next day, we joined a special collaboration brew led by Peter, the head brewer from Estonia’s renowned Põhjala Brewery. They developed a unique recipe that highlights both Nordic and Chinese brewing character. The collaboration symbolized Ye Brewing’s ambition to connect internationally and explore innovative beer styles.

Today, Ye Brewing operates a high-performance production facility capable of delivering premium craft beers to the Hebei region and beyond.
